Alpenda, over 100 years of construction expertise. Founded in 1915, STEINER has become a benchmark company in Switzerland over the years.
After an initial change of shareholder in 2010, followed by the creation of our subsidiary Alpenda in 2021 to carry out Total and General Contracting mandates, Alpenda has established itself as a benchmark in the construction industry in French-speaking Switzerland and the canton of Bern. The company has built a solid reputation on its know-how, professionalism and commitment to quality projects.
From the foundation of a one-man carpentry shop in 1915 to the integration of a multinational group with over 4,000 employees, the company has stood the test of time, innovating and adapting to the ever-increasing needs of its customers. Today, we’ve had the good fortune to build several hundred landmark construction projects for our customers.
